Volkswagen expanded its SUV range downwards in spring 2019 and is presented the VW T-Cross as the entry-level model of its sport utility vehicles. The T-Cross rolls off the assembly line at Volkswagen in Spain alongside the Polo, with which it shares the platform. An alternative to small cars and compact SUVs for VW beginners who do not expect an all-wheel drive option from the mini-SUV, but appreciate a higher seating position and crossover lifestyle.
Flared wheel arches and wide side skirts, plastic coverings and a front apron with a striking aluminum-look clip: this is how Volkswagen sets up the 4.11 m long and 1.76 m wide T-Cross as a crossover based on the example of off-road vehicles. There are also special features such as the reflective strip that extends across the entire width of the rear and a modeled bonnet. The following overview shows a selection of the most important features of what Volkswagen is giving the T-Cross, which was presented in two petrol versions with 70 kW (95 hp) and 85 kW (115 hp).
Motor oil is a vital part of your Volkswagen T-Cross's engine. It provides the much needed lubrication to many of the internal parts of an engine. One of its key jobs is to prevent wear and tear on the moving parts which helps keep the engine running smoothly. Without oil, the engine would cease up almost immediately.

Type of Engine Oil for Volkswagen T Cross
Regularly checking and changing your Volkswagen T-Cross engine oil is really important. Every time you start and run your car, very fine by-products from the combustion in the engine will be collected in the engine oil. This is one of the reasons why over time the oil goes black. If these contaminants build up too much and exceed the capacity of the oil it can have a negative impact on your car’s overall efficiency and actually effect its performance as it creates sludge and increased wear in the engine block.
Every engine oil will have its viscosity grade labelled on the packaging. This will look something like 0W-20, 5W-30 or 5W-40. This grading is used to measure how thick / fluid the oil is and help ensure you buy the right oil for your car. The lower the viscosity grade of the oil, the more fluid and thinner it will be than those with a high grade (higher numbers) which will be much less running and thick.
