Toyota vehicles are renowned for their cutting-edge technology, and this is evident in models like the Auris, Yaris and the Camry. These vehicles are often equipped with oil change indicators that notify drivers when maintenance is required. However, the intervals for oil changes vary significantly among Toyota models, ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 kilometers. Even if you drive infrequently, it is still recommended to change the oil annually. As engine oil ages, its lubricating properties diminish considerably.
Certain modern Toyota diesel vehicles employ flexible oil change intervals. Utilizing advanced technology, these vehicles analyze factors such as usage and type of driving to determine the optimal time for an oil change. This innovative approach eliminates unnecessary oil changes, resulting in long-term cost savings. Owners of such Toyota models are not obligated to visit authorized workshops for oil changes, as independent workshops can perform the task just as effectively.
The recommended oil type for the Toyota Camry is 0W-20 synthetic oil. Although any 0W-20 synthetic oil will suffice, Toyota offers a specific 0W-20 synthetic oil with a special additive that you can conveniently purchase at our Marietta dealership. If you have any inquiries or wish to explore our OEM products, such as Toyota Camry oil filters and wiper blade replacements, feel free to contact us today or visit our parts center for more information.
It is advised to change the engine oil in your Camry every six months or 5,000 miles, whichever comes first, to maintain peak performance. The period is increased to once a year or every 10,000 miles if synthetic oil is being used. It's crucial to change the oil filter as part of this maintenance process. Maintaining consistency is essential for the engine of your car to run well.
