It wasn't long after the turn of the millennium when SsangYong launched their first compact SUV known as the Tivoli. It is thought to be the first model designed and built by the company after being bought out by Mahindra & Mahindra Limited. The Tivoli is a SUV that offers drivers a lot of comfort and exceptional equipment options for a very affordable price tag.
Initially the SsangYong Tivoli only came with a choice of two different petrol engines. There wasn't a diesel or hybrid version. The GDI engine has a 1.2 and a 1.5 litre petrol engine, with the 1.2 litre engine not being available in the variants Onyx and Sapphire. Since 2015, the Tivoli has also been available as a diesel which further increases the choice for those drivers who prefer diesel.

On top of the Quartz spec, for the Fizz and the Onyx models an additional front parking aid has been integrated and both models also have electrically folding exterior mirrors.
The Sapphire is the highest trim level. Because it has all the features mentioned, plus a blind spot assistant and a keyless go system with a start/stop button. The latter can also be found in Onyx. The cross traffic warning is only found in the Sapphire. All in all, the SsangYong Tivoli offers a wide range of technical aids, equipment and safety systems in all variants, which generally make driving long or short journeys very comfortable and pleasant.
Motor oil is a vital part of your SsangYong Tivoli's engine. It provides the much needed lubrication to many of the internal parts of an engine. One of its key jobs is to prevent wear and tear on the moving parts which helps keep the engine running smoothly. Without oil, the engine would cease up almost immediately.
Regularly checking and changing your SsangYong Tivoli engine oil is really important. Every time you start and run your car, very fine by-products from the combustion in the engine will be collected in the engine oil. This is one of the reasons why over time the oil goes black. If these contaminants build up too much and exceed the capacity of the oil it can have a negative impact on your car’s overall efficiency and actually effect its performance as it creates sludge and increased wear in the engine block.
