Mazda CX-3 Oil Change Costs

In a cost check, we tested one of the comparison systems in the UK area. We had an all-wheel drive CX-3 with the 1.5 litre diesel drive up to various companies to get a price for changing the oil. The cost of the service in the North of England was much cheaper than down south. The typical differece in cost was around £52 between London and Manchester for example. The costs for our Mazda were highest in London workshop, which charged £176 for the maintenance of the CX-3 (price correct as of November 27, 2023).

There are no longer fixed intervals for oil changes on the CX-3. Instead, the on-board computer uses the operating data to analyze when the ideal time is to replace the engine oil. Your Mazda will definitely get fresh engine oil at the latest during the inspection and therefore every 20,000 km or every 12 months.

Mazda CX-3 Engine Oil Capacity - How Much Engine Oil Does a Mazda CX-3 Need?

Depending on the engine equipment, different types of oil are used for service. The amount of oil needed also depends on the engine of your CX-3. For a Mazda SUV with a 2.0-litre petrol engine, for example, the workshop fills in approximately 4.2 litres of lubricant, adhering to ACEA A3/B3 or A5/B5 standards. Models with the 1.5-litre diesel require around 5.1 litres of oil with viscosity classes 5W-30 or 0W-20 during an oil change.
