It is important to pay attention to the engine oil approvals from the manufacturer. Which engine oil is suitable for each car can be found in the vehicle manual. If there are no manufacturer approvals, you must pay attention to the ACEA or API specifications. If you don't have the vehicle manual to hand, the service booklet can sometimes help.
Every 15,000km or every 12 months, whichever is achieved first.
Once you know which is the correct engine oil, with the right specification and the filling quantity you need for your Stinger, then simply order it inexpensively from somewhere like eBay or Amazon and take it to the workshop for the oil change. Be warned though: The Kia oil approval is essential for maintaining the factory warranty!
We have listed all the Kia Stinger models and engine types in the following table, as well as the correct engine oil grade for each of the cars. You can use the search and filter to easily find the right engine oil for your Kia Stinger.

While engine oil is changed at regular intervals, transmission oil receives little attention from most drivers. But gear oil also ages and should therefore be replaced before gear damage occurs.
Changing the transmission oil - unlike changing the engine oil - is only necessary very few times in the life of the car. If the manufacturer does not specify an interval, which is more the rule than the exception, the first change should be made after driving around 80,000 to 100,000 kilometers or six to eight years . However, it also depends on the respective model and driving style: a sporty driving style places greater demands on the transmission, increases wear and tear and causes the transmission oil to age more quickly. The same applies to short journeys, which place more demands on the transmission due to the more frequent gear changes.
